Briefly about us
API – Additives for Paper Industry is a strongly service-oriented, medium-sized company that has been operating internationally for more than 20 years in the field of specialty chemicals for the paper and pulp industry, as well as for industrial water treatment. We are a leader in the field of anti-fouling technologies in water-bearing systems. At our new location in Aachen, we develop and manufacture the dosing systems required for the use of our specialty chemicals. In order to meet a constantly growing customer base and the ever-increasing requirements, we are looking for a production manager for plant engineering for our new technology center in Aachen.
Your profile
- You should have completed training as an electrician or mechatronics technician or equivalent training
- Professional experience in measurement and control technology is an advantage, but not essential.
- Career starters are also welcome
- Craftsmanship and a practical and technical mindset

Where we need your expertise:
Your tasks
- Coordination of processes in our workshop, from resource planning to quality control
- Creation and maintenance of parts lists and production documents with the help of our ERP
- Creation of system documentation
- Assembly of electro-hydraulic systems for dosing process chemicals
- Support with assembly work for our customers within Europe
We expect
- Sense of responsibility, diligence, flexibility and initiative
- Ability to work in a team as well as independently
- Willingness to travel in Central Europe (one-day and multi-day trips)
- Normal IT knowledge
- Very good knowledge of German
- Class B driver’s license
